Copley senior Sam Wheeler has committed to continue his academic and athletic careers at the University of Oklahoma. Wheeler was the OHSAA Division 1 state runner-up at 171 pounds last season, finishing with a record of 53-1. Congratulations to Sam and the Copley wrestling program.

i remember seeing Sam and Cody wrestle in the finals at the Bill Dies. Had not seen Sam wrestle, but what an impressive match between two truely talented young men.
Congrats to Sam on his decision, and look out this year - gonna be an impressive run, I would venture to guess...
