Olentangy Orange High School offers a two-tiered youth team designed to meet the needs of the Kindergarten to 6th grade wrestler.
K-6 CRUSH CLUB - M/W from 6:15-7:30
The Crush youth club team will run from November 29th to February 1st every Monday and Wednesday from 6:15-7:30 PM. The team, once again, will compete in the OURWAY/COBYWA League, dedicated to helping develop the young athletes. Our coaches are ideal for the YOUTH wrestler...practices are geared towards technique, skills-based games and growing as a competitor. Cost is $100 for the season and includes COBYWA membership, singlet, tshirt and coaching.
STAFF INCLUDES:
Head Coach Patrick Fath teaches at an elementary school and brings a very solid wrestling background, including two years at Kent State and a HS coaching stint.
Coach Aaron Badgley has worked exclusively at the youth and middle school level on his own program and as part of a larger system.
Coach Mike Meyer was a state placer at OHS and a MAC Champ at Miami, Ohio.
FRONTIER ELITE NIGHT (NEW!!!) - Thursdays from 6:15-7:30
Coach Aaron Badgley--who previously ran the middle school program at Bishop Ready---will direct a 3rd night of training sessions for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade Crush wrestlers interested in learning advanced techniques and focusing on a training environment. The opportunity for additional competitions will be introduced, including OAC Youth State Tournament. The cost is $50 for the season.
