Kent State Wrestling will be holding an all-in one High School and Junior High Coaches Clinic on October 14th and 15th. The KSU Coaches Clinic will include three different mandatory high school coaching certifications. It will also include wrestling technique and coaching instruction by the KSU Wrestling Staff.
Coaches Clinic Schedule:
Thursday, October 14th
Pupil Activity Program Certification/ Coaches Permit,Coaches First Aid (Open to any high school sport)
• 6:45pm Registration
• 7:00pm – 9:00pm Pupil Activity Certification Session
• 9:00pm – 11:00pm Coaches Social at The Kent State Blue and Gold
*Pupil Activity Certification is needed every three years in Ohio
Friday, October 15th
• 8:00am – 8:30am Registration
• 8:30am – 11:00am American Red Cross CPR Certification
• 11:30am – 12:30am Ohio High School State Rules Certification
• 12:30pm – 1:00pm Lunch…Coach Jim Andrassy’s “Building
a Program and Planning Your Season”
• 1:00pm – 3:00pm Technique and Wrestling Instructions…

• 3:00pm – 4:45pm Kent State Wrestling Practice
• 5:00pm – 6:00pm Strength and Conditioning Q&A
Coaches Clinic Fees:
• $25.00 Pupil Test Only Oct. 14th (Open to any High School Sport)
• $85.00 Coaches Clinic and All 3 Certifications (CPR, PUPIL Activity Program and Referee Cert.)
Certifications Offered:
• American Red Cross CPR
• Ohio High School Coaches Pupil Activity Certification/Coaches Permit, First Aid
• Ohio High School Wrestling Referee State Rule Interpretation
