Very rare for Minny not to land a home state gem. I'm optimistic that McCauley and Courts will both end up in Columbus.

Hank: I L-O-V-E that optimism!!! I hope it works out that way. Courts is VERY impressive.

Anyone have word on Fortune's status, or even Compalatono?

it looks like Fortune is a no-go, as i reported on here last week .... Campolattano verbaled to Rutgers for football a while back, he is out of the picture.

big names that ohio st is now in the hunt for are Courts, McIntosh, & McCauley --and there are a couple other lesser knowns.

My understanding is that, while UMinn generally gets the best kids from the rest of the state, Apple Valley wrestlers rarely become Gophers. Apparently they model their program after Iowa as much as they can, all the way down to the singlets. I could be wrong, though.

I like the way you think.

Just wondering, were these recruits at OSU during the OSU-Miami football weekend?
