To be honest, I have watched the action repeatedly and can't see the punch that knocked down soto. But that knee to the face had to feel like a wet 2 x 4. Nice to see Warren win. Soto seemed pretty cocky until he got rocked.

Hank-
It looks like the fist did not connect but possibly the elbow as he followed through. Brock v Randy had the same type of elbow clippage to the temple. It seems that a fighter can slip the punch but still get caught in its' aftermath. That knee to the head looked brutal. Also, I was cringing when Warren was attempting the clinch and grabbing the neck arms extended and getting pelted with punch after punch. Probably the thing I dislike most about MMA is the repeated blows to the head. Cumulative effect over time is a bad thing.

I watched the whole card this morning , dvr , man Bellatore is getting better every show . Lots of good fights on this card .
Warren has to get out of the habit of reaching for the tie , while he is reaching , the opponent is punching . He needs a stiff jab .
But there is no denying his toughness !

Rick-
I totally agree, use the jab to initiate the clinch or keep the opponent from cleanly teeing off. Toughness was never in question. Warren had his mind made up to be the Champion of Bellator.

Echoing Rick and Rex: Warren took a lot of hard hits and stayed in there. He is a tough, tough hombre.
