I'm probably more excited for this than I have been for anything but the NCAA tourney.
As the best wrestlers in the country prepare for battle this weekend, the nation waits to see which seven wrestlers will arise as champions, earning the right to represent the United States at this year's Freestyle World Championships in Moscow, Russia. Perhaps more so than any other state, Ohio looks very strong across the board. Here is a weight-by-weight breakdown of the state's freestyle representatives:

My apologies for reporting only on the Mens Freestyle competition.
Mens Greco and Womens Freestyle are also being contested throughout the weekend. The winners of these competitions will also be representing the United States at the World Championships, and are, of course, deserving of equal praise.

I think he will beat Escobedo. But it will certainly not be easy, so we shall see.

Escobedo wins. Stole the first period with 20 seconds left. Took the 2nd period in the clinch. Escobedo looked good.

My guess is it will be Precin. Precin is a top-notch wrestler (at least in folk); it would be a good win for Logan.
