2010 Ohio University Summer Wrestling Camps:
Technique/Competition July 5-8th

Jake Deitchler- 2008 U.S. Olympic Greco-Roman Team Member; becoming only the third wrestler in U.S. history to come directly from high school to earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team, 3x Minnesota High School State Champion, 2007 Junior Greco-Roman Wrestler of the Year, 2007 Junior Nationals Greco-Roman Champion and 2nd in Junior Nationals freestyle, 2nd in 2006 Junior Nationals in freestyle, 2006 FILA Cadet National Champion in Greco-Roman, 2005 Cadet National Greco-Roman champion, 2005 Cadet National folkstyle champion

This camp is for individuals of all age groups and levels of experience. Campers will be split into two groups (beginner or advanced) the first day of camp and technique sessions will be organized targeting each group’s needs. All imaginable areas of wrestling will be covered in the technique/competition camp. We will teach advanced as well as basic wrestling techniques, including: takedowns, pins, near-falls, escapes, reversals, and riding. The second half of each session will consist of competition where wrestlers will be divided among weights into groups for live wrestling. We will also cover training tactics, mat strategies, and strength and conditioning.
*Resident campers will stay in James Hall (student dorm) and be supervised by camp staff. All campers will receive the appropriate attention and supervision from all the staff.*
Technique/Competition Camp Cost: Commuter Price: $200 Resident Price: $300
Kid's Camp (grades 6th and below) July 6th-8th
Commuter camp from 10am - 2pm *includes lunch*
Camp will feature instruction and demonstration from Ohio University Coaches and Wrestlers
Camp will include wrestling technique instruction and a variety of games to provide an exciting and productive introduction to wrestling
Kid’s Camp Cost: $75 (includes camp shirt)

"Jake and Dustin did a phenomenal job tonight. These guys have a great future in coaching. The kids loved them and the motivational talks before and after practice were top notch. Can't wait till tomorrow. They will both be doing the Ohio U camp this summer, I highly recommend you get your kid there if you can."
