You must have a lot of free time rooting for your boys in blue!
How does the saying go in Michigan? Oh yeah, it will be better next year.

"That's been his "problem" the last few seasons. A loss like this really deflates him. I, too, would like to see some improvement in this trend. We'll see. "
Jack: If he is going to be a leader on the team next year, and he will have to be, it better start now in the consis if TOSU wants to do anything in the team standings. I doubt we are in the hunt for thr title but we all know what Iowa did last year without a champ (and the Bucks are still in the hunt for two of those) by winning in the wrestlebacks.

Roe, I cannot argue with you from a wrestling perspective. Overall the athletic program is still one of the elite in the nation, but wrestling is down at the moment. And what, you don't think that line was funny?
By the way, does Ohio State still admit any student with a pulse and a check that will clear? :)

Bucks still have a shot to get four AA's and two finalists. They also have four more guys still alive so...
No, they're not going to win it barring a pretty weird series of circumstances. But if they push two into the finals and Colt and Mike can rebound--best case scenarios to be sure--they have a shot to finish runnerup again.
It's not the start the Bucks wanted but it's not yet a collapse. For the second consecutive year, alot is riding on Sponseller. He needs to wrestle smart and stay off bottom unless he has no choice. Time for the staff to stop making that mistake.

Hank-
Interesting that you mention mythology as one of its' chief purpose is to make explanation of something.
I wonder if Ross Thatcher helped manufacture that win?

First, my friend, I found it quite humorous.
Second, having gone to a college near TOSU many years ago I can comfortably say that back in those days I saw a few students without pulses.
Today, however, TOSU is quite a different story. Ask Bob P. Michigan, however, will hire any coach without a soul, much less a heartbeat (i.e Rodriguez, not McFarland).

God, I hate when people bring up Rodriguez. I have NO defense for that one.
Though, speaking of souls, Coach Sweater Vest pretty much sold his to win a national title (tainted though it might have been by a flag thrown in the end zone about 2 days after the play concluded) when he brought in Clarret.
By the way, that parenthetical statement was made not only by a Michigan man, but also the father of a graduate of the U.

Yep, Class of 2004. He is working down there now, and will probably never come back to the snow.
