Irayel Williams, Cleveland Rhodes, won two cons matches at 189 pounds. Nice to see a city of C kid place at state. Glenville also had a state qualifier at 171. I just haven't paid a lot of attention this year.

He gave Demas a close match, too. Speaking of Demas, what's up with him this weekend? I haven't been there watching him, but his first two matches have been pretty close with one of them going to OT. I know a W is a W, but close wins like that aren't really his style.

My understanding is that Demas has been sick and not fully recovered yet. His match with Alexander was very close and could have gone either way.
