Two pretty good teams this weekend for the Buckeyes. They should win both but will have some tough individual match-ups. The grind has begun.

I watched Kinser on the big ten network. His upper body strength is outstanding. I don't know how his ground game is, but he almost made a guy tap out. He looks like he is a big as palmer at 149. The word on the street is that he likes to launch people into space. For the second straight week Jameson will see two top 10 wrestlers, as well as Colton Salazar from Purdue, who is ranked in the top 25, i think??? I believe we will see some serious adjustments from Jameson. Palmer has Patacsil from Purdue. He has wrestled a Patacil in the past, but i think this is a different one. Ortega, from Indiana will be at 133 .....this should be a good match. Colt Sponseller will see Young from Indiana. 165 will be the barnburner of the day, but there might be a few more thrillers.

I believe Salazar majored Nemec 10-1 at Vegas. Will be interesting to see how Jameson fares vs. Salazar.

You are right. He also beat Kinser from Indiana #6 He has 8 loses, and a few of them were blow outs.

Salazar is extremely hit- miss. When he is on, he is very very good. When he is off, he is very pedestrian.

Kinser is indeed very impressive. Interesting to see Matt Coughlin back at 149- where he was an AA as a true freshman. He was up at 165 a couple years ago after Kinser beat him in the wrestleoff at 157.

Oh, and yes this is a different Patacsil. Jake graduated last year, and is the one who Jameson wrestled earlier in the year in a good match. He was an AA last year, and is extremely funky and dangerous. Jake has wrestled in several opens this year. Sam is his little brother.

I'm a bit surprised Nemec is still not wrestling. I don't know if that reflects a change in the lineup or lingering health issue. Can anyone comment?

It almost seems like Triggas was better two seasons ago. I hate to say that.

It's weird. Triggas was looking like he would put it together this time around late in the season, but then he gets thumped.
