Team scores after day 1. I'm just home from work and checking it out myself. If I hear anything (and I probably will after the finals), I'll post. I do know Ague (Fitch vs Griffith (Medina) finals at 112.

Louisville 93
Uniontown Lake 84
Southeast 83.5

When I coached, we went to the Hephner every year from it's inception (or it's second year--not positive what year it began) . What a great tourney. The Fitch people always ran it first class and all the kids got a lot of matches. Every year we'd have kids get on track at that event because they got a chance to compete all weekend. I don't understand the point in running tourneys that aren't pool style because they don't benefit most of the participants. I guess they're more work. I will always be a fan of Coach Powell and his AD Dick Kenney because of how well they treated all of us at that event.

And the food is great!! Lake Erie walleye sandwiches at a wrestling tournament.
To me this tournament is about more than wrestling. it's about the "wrestling community" and seeing friends you only see once a year. Mrs Hephner gave me insight on how to deal with my child's death in a talk between sessions in 2005. Stuff you never forget.
Still looking for results!
