What did Chase get DQ'd for?

He had 6 cautions. Don't see that too often.

Chase got DQ'd but was getting beat pretty handily, so it wouldn't have been a big score difference if he finished the match.

Note to whichever Buckeye wrestles Purdue's Salazar @157. Shuster cradled this kid over & over again off of a cross body ride.

BTW: If Kent hopes to beat schools like Maryland, or Purdue for that matter, they need Bedelyon, Cathell & Cogar in the lineup.

Mitcheff with a big major over Stever Bell- very impressive result there. Bell is a returning AA (I think he might have even been a semifinalist at NCAAs) and Midlands runner up. Skonieczny also kept it close with returning AA Krom, only losing 3-0. Kilgore also with a solid win over Peltier.

Nice match by Houska to go 8-5 with Barlow.

Interesting to see that Purdue isn't redshirting Walls.

Agreed- hope everything is worked out with Cathell. Opfer and Newburg are doing admirably filling in for Bedelyon and Cogar, respectivelly, but Kent isn't the same team without those two guys.

In fact, Bell beat Mitcheff 3-2 in the NCAA wrestlebacks last year. Danny totally controlled the match on Sunday. Never in any trouble. He had Bell on the defensive the whole match. He had to fight for those TD's, but he converted. It was like Bell knew the leg attacks were coming, but couldn't react fast enough to prevent the TD,s. Mitcheff is so quick!
