I can hardly recognize Taylor in these videos- physically that is. When he gets on top, you can't miss his style, though.

That can't be David Taylor. He is some skinny little 103 from SPG. That kid calling himself David Taylor is starting to look like a man. He is growing up fast. If he continues to mature physically over this year, he is going to be pretty special for PSU next year.

The interview after the match was great. He says he is big enough to compete at 157 (agree). He says he is fixing a few things this year so he can be a national champ next year. He says the 1st few weeks were so tough at PSU that he actually sat in the corner and cried a couple of times. And best of all, he said wrestling at this level is still fun (those of us that have been on the college mat know how difficult that statement is at times).

I love how open he is. When we interviewed him on OWR, he said that after losing to Sergent his first weekend of HS, he didn't know if he was ready to compete at that level. Taylor is a very special wrestler, and he will be right there next year at 149, 157, or wherever Cael puts him in the lineup. 157 loses a lot to graduation after this year, so that could be a prime spot for him to challenge.
