East Stroudburgh Open - Taylor gets second losing 4-3 in the finals to Bubba Jenkins. He also majored Cocozzo from Rutgers, who I believe was a NQ at Edinboro.
His other two wins were a tech and a fall.
I know Taylor has been questioned on the national forums, but he is a beast already. After a full RS year he will be an instant title contender.

You are correct that Cozzocco was a NQ. I believe he split with Johnstone last year.
Awesome for Taylor- and there is no way he is a full 157 yet, either.

I think the only doubts on Taylor would be him filling into his weight class never on the talent. If he is right there with Bubba this early on watch out I see greatness in the making at Penn State with him.

Taylor's talent and desire to excel are beyond question. But a single open event is not be proof of multi national titles. C.P. Schlatter murdered all comp his redshirt season (And, I might add, he was a fine college wrestler). Colt Sponseller is another person to consider (fine wrestler but no AA's to this point).
Not trying to be a wet blanket...actually, I am.

"But a single open event is not be proof of multi national titles."
Two open events now. In and of themselves it is not proof of CONTENDING for multi-national titles. But...
At the same time, his lobsided loss to Sanderson in a wrestle-off (which has clearly been the "wet blanket") is not proof that he won't.

Didn't intend to imply national multiple titles, but I am just excited about the Ohio native after reading over and over on TheMat that he would struggle at the collegiate level.
Still, I would wager at least one national title for Taylor during his career.
