Findlay Courier reports that Max Gladstone from Findlay HS signs a letter of intent to wrestle for buckeyes. 2 time state qualifier @ 285. Is he on the radar?

Evidently, yes.

I think OSU sees him as a guy they can work with. He's got a great build and I don't think all of his potential has been tapped. I like the pick-up and I doubt OSU had to spend scholarship money.

I'm not familiar with Gladstone except on results pages.

Can anyone give an analysis of our newest Buckeye recruit?

My guess is that Gladstone is about 6'5" and 230 pounds. I would take a wild guess and say he has a lot of filling out ahead of him.

I think Gladstone is regarded by most as the #2 heavyweight in DI, behind Ben Buzzelli. He lost an OT bout (7-5) for placement last year and finished the season 46-8. With the right draw, he has a good shot at being a finalist this year.
