#1) The Cosby Show
#2) Saved by the Bell
#3) Quantum Leap
#4) Survivorman (might even be ahead of Quantam Leap)
#5) Seinfeld
#6) Friends
#7) MacGuyver
#8) Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (I gotta tell ya...I think it was the episode that his dad came out to California to meet up with him that keeps him in the top 10. That episode floored me.)

This is harder for the older guys. More to pick from.
In our youth, prime time TV was a family affair (only one TV in the house). Now we have four, though two are unused since the boys moved away.
Early 5: Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Twilight Zone, and Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. The Untouchables.
Later 5: Columbo, Streets of San Francisco, Who loves ya baby (Kojak), Book'em Dano (Hawaii 5-0), Star Trek.
Other never missed watching:
Secret Agent Man, Lou Grant, Love Boat, McMillan and Wife, 6 Million Dollar Man, and the original Law and Order.
Do you guys remember:
"Man....woman....birth....death....infinity"?

I'm probably not telling you guys anything new but I'm don't venture far away from the sports websites -- so, the site is pretty sweet, you can watch a ton of different television shows. I just began re-watching one of my top 10 shows -- the pretender.

Steve L, i'll answer that one, its Ben Casey MD, the reason i know is the lead Dr Casey was an Ohio St U grad who swam on Ohio St Swim Team, i forget his name but he was a buckeye.
Meet the Press an interesting selection--- but Tim Russert was too nice a guy for me even though he was a John Carroll grad who also grad from Cleveland State's John Marshall Law School. I prefer a tougher interviewer, Mike Wallace or Lou Dobbs.
have never watched American Idol, i couldnt even tell u what channel its on or when its on, i just hear people blabbing constantly about someone named Paula Abdul --- one thing about this thread, i havent watched many of these shows, thus i'm feeling better about my life, ha, ha, ha.

Brady...My wife just read your post...You should know she checks for the final movie quite frequently. She's still holding out.
We have seasons 1 through 4 (maybe) on DVD.

Is it me or have TV shows really gotten better in recent years? I remember when all the reality shows started up there wasn't anything else to watch on TV.
Anyways, my list is more of recent shows.
1. Smallville (big fan of Superman)
2. Dexter
3. Rescue Me
4. Fringe
5. Lost
6. Nip/Tuck
7. Sons of Anarchy
8. South Park
9. Family Guy
10. Prison Break (would be higher, but the last few seasons didn't do it for me)
