I saw Keaton beat Becker, the defending national champ from Minnesota, at St Johns during the dual season. I believe, if not for the injury, he would have won at nationals. I felt so bad for him when I heard he'd been injured at the Big Tens. I think it all had come together for him that year with weight, health and attitude.

The Becker match was one of the best I ever saw, considering the history between Anderson and Becker. Remember when Keaton got the high crotch and lifted Becker up off the mat, then brought him down hard? St. John Arena erupted! I then went up to Ann Arbor and saw Keaton beat Bertin convincingly. It was a shame he got injured at the Big Tens, and courageously wrestled at the NCAA's two weeks later. I, too, thought he was the best 157 at the end of his career.

Is there any video of this kind of Buckeye wrestling history out there? I mean I only got into wrestling my freshmen year of college and that still leaves out a lot of memorable stuff I have never seen. If someone has video of this kind of stuff, post it on youtube so us newbies can get a taste of this history.
