Didn't exactly have first-team AA's in football or basketball this year. Not sure if people in their Olympic sports performed well.

He's the first undefeated NCAA Champion since before he was born. Anything short of a Heisman Trophy winner on the gridiron and Luke is a legit choice.

Michigan had never selected a wrestler for this award until this year. It was long overdue. Don't forget, the school just invested millions in a new wrestling facility. UofM has backed their program and wants it to succeed.
