Wow! We lose one in college but gain one internationally!

I would love to see them lure Schlatter back to Ohio. Having Stieber, Humphrey, Bunch, Schlatter, Bergman, and Dlagnev all training in Columbus would be be huge--and think of the positive impact it could have on the Buckeyes.

Someone enlighten me, are the college wrestlers allowed to work out with the guys at RTC? How does that work?

Good question, Jack. The Ohio RTC site has always displayed video of Humphrey working with Bunch, Pucillo with Gavin, etc... But it was always freestyle. My educated guess is that the Ohio RTC members are not allowed to practice with the team in the collegiate style. But it's just a guess.

Does anyone know if Steve Luke is going to be a grad assistant or be some type of volunteer assistant?

The RTC wrestlers cannot be at the regular practice for the team, but the team members can have private workouts in any style with them.

Quote from Marlo Stanfield's post:

"Does anyone know if Steve Luke is going to be a grad assistant or be some type of volunteer assistant?"

Steve is going to help people train at the RTC, but is not permitted to work out with the Buckeyes at regular practices because he is neither a coach nor an alum.

So if the rumors aren't quite on the dot with Steve Luke becoming a part-time coach for the Buckeyes, have we found a replacement for Tom Rowlands?
