Here's an Interesting poll from themat.com to get things started...

Who will win if Caldwell and Metcalf meet again?

Metcalf is the more experienced freestyler. I'd expect him to win easily.

Schlatter is in the championship match tonight. He looked fantastic against Churella. Go Dustin!

Hrovat vs. Bergman was a pretty good match. Both wrestlers were very explosive but they wait around quite a bit, and then go for a big move. It was a shame that it had to come down to a coin flip at the end. When will wrestling change that incredibly lame rule? It reminds me of Pee-Wee wrestling where you put a kid on the other kid's leg and then tell them to wrestle. Hrovat pushed Bergman out to win the match. Let's see if Hrovat can beat Varner to become the first man to make three world teams without winning the U.S. Open.

Does anyone know what time the championship bouts are tonight?

Nice to see Ohio and Ohio related wrestlers do so well in freestyle today.

Buckeye wrestler Reece Humphrey beat Andy Simmons and Nick Gallick while losing a tight bout to Matt Valenti. He will wrestle for 3rd.

Dustin Schlatter won the challenge tourney at 74 Kilos. He'll face one of the Paulsons to make the team.

At 96 Kilos, Andy Hrovat beat J.D. Bergman in three periods to win the mini tourney. He'll take on Jake Varner.

Ohio RTC athlete, Shawn Bunch, ended up winning at 60 kilos. He'll wrestle Mike Zadick this evening.

Good round for Ohio...

Shawn Bunch wins first finals match on a controversial end.

After getting tossed in the first, Harry came back with a beautiful throw of his own and won the match in three periods.

Schlatter beats Paulson in two periods by getting the leg clinch and scoring pushouts.

Hrovat coming up soon...

Hrovat loses in three periods. Varner is looking more offensive every time I see him.

Varner is a beast.

Pretty good crop of future freestyle stars currently competing while in college in Schlatter, Varner, Metcalf, etc.

Harry and Bunch both win in two straight matches. Harry via fall and Bunch by yet another barnburner match with Zadick

Schlatter wins again on pushouts from the leg clinch. Rules are rules.

Man, pumped to see Dustin win, but what are the odds of winning all four ball grabs? Terrible luck for Paulson.
