A couple of things here...
#1...Dan, there isn't a 6th grader in the world that can out #1-fan-of-David-Taylor me. You got that?
#2...Gary...That's my line!!! It's his choice! Not mine (ours). I will agree that we post-ers get a little crazy and overboard when it comes to deciding where others go to college. (And on that note, I say, "DAVID...BECOME A BUCKEYE!!!!!!!!!!)
#3...What if David just said, "Dang it all to heck...I'm heading to <insert>!!!

The 4x sq moniker is one of dubious honor. Be careful what you wish for...
As for the "Fighting Pickles"...can you imagine!?!?!?! He'd show up to campus and nobody...and I mean NOBODY... would know who he was!!!!!! They be busy bowing to the 'BAM!!!" shrine of Emmeral and waiting to get into the "Rachel Ray's Museum!!!
The group of kids would make him grow his hair out in order to become a member of the Bob Ross Squad... Happy clouds.

I want to see Taylor at TOSU for the same reason that I want the best high school tackle or quarterback to go there: I am a fan of the Buckeyes and want to get great talent with great credentials, including academic credentials. Taylor sure seems to be the whole package.
I care as much about what his parents think as they do what I think. I'm sure they are good people (and I always thought it would be great to be a pilot). It is irrelevant to my posting on this forum as a fan.
Taylor wrestling up against Palmer this year was fantacstic. Both guys out on a great show. One of the all-time great matches.
I still can't help wondering why the Cael move to PSU? Money clearly was a factor. If it was recruiting, does he maybe feel his mat talent is not translating well to coaching and maybe he thinks does not have what Ryan or Brands have to be a great coach? His ISU recruiting classes have been exceptional. Not sure how much better they can get.
