Quote from Jack Muni's post:

"Is anyone concerned that the OSU starting 125 got pinned by a DIII freshman? 125 & 174 have to be big concerns for Coach Ryan. Do you go with Heinselman & Smith? or perhaps wait until the first of the year to see where things stand. Dual meet wins have never been Ryans top priority in the past."

125, 165, 174 and 285 are all concerns. But that's because we've gotten used to potential AA candidates at every wt. With Romero, I see a guy that Rex Holman might describe as needing to become more competent in a variety of positions. Heinselman and Singletary are just not big/strong. And Campbell is wrestling hurt. All of them, however, are good.
And each of them have backups who can compete.

maybe 174 not so much worry, Campbell looks better up at 174 and teammate Smith beat him 8-5 in finals.

125 clearly a worry, Mead loses to John Carrol kid and Heinselman loses to Indiana U backup.

hvwt not as much worry now either with Singlary asserting himself. The bigger push & pull heavies can beat him but if u really wrestle him he can beat most anyone. He has skills. ....im seeing a heckuva good 197 someday- perhaps.

165, spoke to Mr Romero, his son just needs to open up, perhaps so far he lacks the confidence.

In fairness to Romero (as I keep forgetting) he missed significant mat time with an injury. Secondly, he doesn't overwhelm his opponents but he's good at coming away with a W.

Is there any video posted of this event?

Trackwrestling- archived videos. $16.95 for the event. That's the only place I've seen the videos.
