Kyle making this move makes me believe Cox is moving up and I can't blame Kyle for trying something new.

Quote from Dan Ransick's post:

"We might as well call Kyle, Benedict Snyder now."

Treason is merely a matter of dates, right? :)

Kyle Snyder wants to be a world champion. He wants to be the very best he can be. He has not reached his goal in the past two years. His loss to Sadulaev (spelling?) was the result of great scouting and coaching as well as a plan that was well executed. This last championships he didn’t make the finals. He has shown himself to be vulnerable. He does need to expand his game. I believe he realizes that fact and has chosen a path that that will allow new eyes and minds to help him improve in order to reach his lofty goals.
As to anyone calling Kyle a traitor or other such thing, shame on you! I’ll wish Kyle good luck, hope he continues to represent our country and hope he returns to the top of the podium!
As to TOSU going forward. They have work to do. No longer can they use “you can train with Kyle”. Certainly Myles Martin not winning a national championship last year did not help either. Time to Coach and train our current athletes to help them achieve success at a high level. If that is done, I think we will be just fine.

I just worry now, that lacking Lou Rosselli and Kyle Snyder, the ORTC doesn't have the same appeal to incoming wrestlers.

If Myles Martin can put it together and become a world team member, that could help a lot. He had a sizable lead against Pat Downey III. If he can just figure out how to finish guys off he could be outstanding at 86KG.

Quote from Liam Bateman's post:

"Word is they paid him double what Taylor is getting, which is 70k."

Wow, I had no idea any RTC was paying any wrestler anywhere close to that amount. Are such numbers released somewhere?

Snyder gives an interview on Flo where he addresses a number of issues. One of the surprises is that he says the National Training Center appealed to him so he could train with J'Den. The rumor Cox is moving up is just that--a rumor.

The interview he did with Mark Bader he says he could of going to OTC to train but never mentioned they appealed to him about coming out there.

I guess we will see.

Not what I meant. I meant that the idea of training at the National Training Center appealed to Snyder because he could work out with Cox. Snyder said something to that effect.

He mentioned three places he thought would be good for training. The National Training Center, The NLWC and The Ohio RTC. He decided to try NLWC.
